Participants

The summit will attract 500 participants and will include:


-    Young leaders and agro-pastoral entrepreneurs  from WCA
-    A delegation of youth from Asia, East and Southern Africa, and Latin America and the Caribbean
-    Governments and national decision makers
-    International organizations
-    Private sector and civil society organizations
-    IFAD linked organizations and projects


High level guests will include the Government of Cameroon, IFAD's senior management,  Ministers of Agriculture from francophone and anglophone african countries, and the UN Secretary-General's Envoy on Youth.

 

Venue and dates


The Global event will take place in Yaoundé, Cameroon, at the Congress Palace ( Palais des Congres) on 28 February and 1 March 2019. The peer to peer learning with selected youth will take place on 2  and 3 March 2019, at the Obala Agri-incubation Center, an hour's drive from Yaoundé.
